Which soon led to forceful closings of courts and the firing of imprisoned debtors from jails in the fall of 1786.

Shortly thereafter during the evanesce of 1786-1787 Daniel Shays men where confronted by a much stronger and much more organized force put into play by the governer of Massachusetts.
